Ivey’s experience with Nishkian Dean on several complex aerospace projects has proven beyond question that Nishkian Dean stands head and shoulders above the engineering crowd. It is rare in this environment to see their level of commitment to real time problem solving and dedication to the team concept. I cannot think of a project where I wouldn’t want Nishkian Dean in our corner.

I have never worked with a more professional team of engineers! Your experience in the construction industry makes my job like a walk in the park. When I can just make a phone call and discuss any of many complicated issues with anyone on your team and get answers; sketches usually in just one day. It’s just amazing how the team understands the small amount of information supplied, and turns it into drawings that can be used to solve real time field problems! I always look forward to calling and working with your team!

The City of Bozeman is truly grateful working with Ty Monks to set up two-person evaluation teams, with one member from the City and one from Nishkian Monks, immediately after the natural gas explosion in downtown Bozeman. The teams assessed over 50 buildings in the six blocks affected by the blast and cleared most of them for limited occupancy, allowing the people whose homes and livelihoods were affected to start cleaning up and moving forward. Nishkian Monks donated over 80 hours of services for their evaluation sweep though the City of Bozeman offered to pay. I felt that my Building Division employees learned so much from their pairing in this situation with structural engineers in emergency response that I was ready to consider it part of the City’s training budget. Ultimately though, the role of the structural engineer in the community is one of a partner in safety, and Nishkian Monks stepped forward in a gesture of community service. The City’s post-explosion safety protocol is based on the ATC-20 post-earthquake safety evaluation protocol and Nishkian Monks was familiar with the procedure and ready to help.
