Nishkian Monks Annual Company Ski Day 2018Mar 13 2018 · 0 comments · NISHKIAN MONKS, Staff News ·0
Detached from everyday routine, the Bridger Mountain Range’s alpine setting provides a superb natural environment to host a wide spectrum of team bonding and relaxation opportunities. Nishkian Monks recently held its annual company ski day at Bridger Bowl, one of the most outstanding outdoor recreation areas located just a short 20-minute drive from historic downtown Bozeman, Montana. The combination of snow sports, sunshine, fresh air, mountain scenery and après-ski activities makes a ski outing an ideal vehicle for company team-building, incentive and social program.
The team sees the company-wide ski outings as a core part of the Nishkian Monks office culture. When the team heads out of town on company ski days, laptops are left at the office to unplug for a day of spotty Wi-Fi, limited cell phone service, and a whole lot of team bonding. “We’re not only practicing the outdoorsy spirit of a true Montana company, we’re also living the age-old ‘work hard, play hard’ mentality,” said Ty Monks, Vice-President, Managing Principal, and one of the founders of Nishkian Monks PLLC. Since employees are all levels of skiers and snowboarders, heading to the mountains becomes a way for different teams within the company to interact with one another creating a wonderful opportunity for skill sharing outside of the office. “We know how lucky we are to have such wonderful people surrounding us and helping to grow our company. It never hurts to say thank you,” said Anchila Monks, Director of Marketing for the Nishkian firms. “This event was such a success, and everyone had so much fun. My favorite part is when everyone meets up at the end of the day for après-ski where we go over our most epic runs and wipeouts.”
