The 2015 economy and projected construction projects has resulted in an incredibly strong start in 2016 for Nishkian Chamberlain! As our company portfolio grows so does our need to find good quality talented team members.
Nishkian Chamberlain has been an active participant in the SEAOSC job fair, typically held the first week of February, which is an opportunity to provide funding for scholarships for those students who are pursuing structural engineering majors in college. The SEAOSC event also gives students the chance to talk with industry professionals and to make introductions for future internships and job placement opportunities. This year’s turnout was a tremendous success with over 35 prospective team members stopping by our booth to discuss their future.
Nishkian Chamberlain understands that the key to providing exceptional customer service is being dedicated to improving our collaboration efforts with outstanding client communication, building of relationships and adding value to each project.
Sara (on the left) is our Office Manager / Administrative Assistant / In-House HR / etc. in other words, she handles a wide variety of tasks that makes the team run smoothly and efficiently. She brings 12 years of Office Manager experience to our Nishkian Chamberlain team and is dedicated to outstanding customer service.
Jeni (on the right), an exceptional Senior Project Manager / Engineer brings over 30 years of varied engineering experience in design, analysis and execution of construction documents for numerous Commercial, Retail, Institutional and Residential projects, managing multiple tasks, and working under constrained deadlines.
Claes, fluent in German, converted from architecture with over 13 years of Job Captain / 3D BIM Modeling / Trade Coordinating experience. Amongst the vast experience he has working on a varied size of building projects, he has experience with working on an amusement park in Shanghai, China. He is looking forward to working with the Nishkian team and is dedicated to meeting the demanding pace of our project deadlines.
Darren, an E.I.T. graduated from Northern Arizona University with a B.S. in Civil Engineering, while playing on the football team, in 2012 and California State University, Fullerton with a M.S. in 2015. He interned with a smaller engineering company in the Los Angeles area and is excited to be working on some larger projects.
Ayk, an E.I.T. is a product of the 2014 SEAOSC Job Fair. He graduated from the University of California, San Diego in 2012 with a B.S. in Structural Engineering received his M.S. in Civil Engineering, with a focus in Structural from San Diego State University in 2014. After graduation he worked with a defense contractor, as a Junior Mechanical Engineer, designing steel frame structures for a mechanical detector system. He is very excited to now be working with Nishkian Chamberlain on building structures where he developed a passion as a child during the construction of the Disney Concert Hall in Downtown Los Angeles.
Hye-Young (Camera Shy), from South Korea, brings a high level of experience with seven years of Advanced Level Revit Certification and over 18 years of AutoCAD experience. She has experience working on a variety of commercial, educational, high-rise, institutional, renovations, additions and retrofit type projects. She is excited to be working with the Nishkian Chamberlain team as she continues to demonstrate her professionalism in the building industry.
