Nishkian & Associates joins IMEG Corp

Mar 01 2019 · 0 comments · COMPANY NEWS ·0

Nishkian & Associates, Inc.– dba Nishkian Menninger in San Francisco, California; Nishkian Chamberlain in Los Angeles, California; Nishkian Dean in Portland, Oregon; and Nishkian Monks in Bozeman, Montana– has joined IMEG Corp.

President and founding family member Levon H. Nishkian said his firm is excited to begin its second century of structural engineering as part of IMEG, a similarly longstanding firm of more than 60 years. “Our clients will now be able to draw from the expertise of a national firm yet continue to benefit from the customer service of a local consultant,” he said. “Our similarities – long, established histories, values, and technical expertise – make this merger a very good fit.”

An 80-employee firm, Nishkian & Associates has built a reputation since 1919 for bringing innovative and cost-effective solutions to projects across many markets including commercial/retail, corporate, education, healthcare, government, and recreation.

IMEG Corp., based in Illinois, is one of the largest full-service engineering consulting firms in the U.S. specializing in high-performing building systems, infrastructure, program management, and construction-related services. The firm has more than 40 offices worldwide and a staff of 1,200.

“We are very excited to welcome Nishkian & Associates into our company,” said IMEG President/CEO Paul VanDuyne. “By blending both firms’ structural expertise and IMEG’s full-service engineering portfolio we create a strong synergy for future growth. This allows us to leverage a broader base of market and technical expertise – delivered through our firms’ shared client-centric approach.”

Nishkian & Associates will continue to operate out of its offices in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Portland Oregon, and Bozeman Montana, eventually doing business under the IMEG name.
