This project was a partial seismic upgrade and renovation of an existing 7500 square foot, single-family residence, which included a review and repair of the existing wooden cantilever in the living room; provision for scissor trusses in the mail living area; modification to retaining walls around the garage and site work adjacent to the structure. The main garage required conventional, staggered concrete piers for the foundation, and a poured-in-place concrete retaining wall.
