Office Buildings

Foundry Square, Buildings 1, 2, 3 and 4, San Francisco, CA
This project will be located on the four corners of the intersection at First & Howard Streets. Building 1 is a ten-story office building with two basement levels of parking and a landscaped area.
Building 2 will also be ten stories in height with two basements to be used for parking. This structure will have a landscaped plaza area on the ground floor and on the First Street elevation will wrap around an historic landmark building. — This historic building will be rehabilitated during the project.
Building 3 will be a nine-story office building and Building 4 will be a ten-story office building. Both will have one basement level for parking. The ground floor and eighth floor of both buildings will have landscaped plazas associated with them.

Baner Building, San Mateo, CA
This Senior Housing project will include two 4- to 50story residential buildings over a below-grade parking garage. The approximate gross square footage of the garage is 38,5000 square feet and the residential buildings are approximately 22,500 square feet and 5800 square feet, respectively.

Irvington Town Center, Fremont, CA
This project consists of four buildings of Type V construction. They are two retail buildings of 7000 and 38,000 square feet, respectively; one restaurant building and one 60,000 square foot building of housing in three stories, over 20,5000 square feet of retail and 35,000 square feet of parking in Type I construction.

532 Sutter Street Renovation, San Francisco, CA
This is a project consisting of the complete renovation of two existing stories with basement with basement of an un-reinforced masonry and wood frame building. The renovation will include new lateral load-resisting elements, removal of portions of the existing second floor and roof and new mezzanine areas above the ground floor and second floor. The total square footage of the completed project will be an increase to 15,240 square feet from the existing 5400.

Concar Drive Offices, San Mateo, CA
This project consists of two office buildings, each of which are five stories in height and contain a total of 205,000 square feet of space.

Electronic Arts Complex, Phases I and II, Redwood Shores, CA
Phase I is a four-building complex consisting of one, eight-story office building, approximately 260,000 square feet; one, six-story office building, approximately 150,000 square feet; one, two-story commons building, approximately 50,000 square feet, and a four-story, 874-car parking structure of approximately 260,000 square feet.
Phase II is a three-building complex consisting of one four-story office building containing approximately 320,000 square feet, one four-story parking structure of approximately 260,000 square feet and a one-story, freestanding auditorium building of 11,000 square feet.

Marlin Cove Retail Center, Foster City, CA
The overall structure of this project is predominately one story in height, except for an area where it is two stories in height. In addition to the new construction, there is also a modification to the existing supermarket entry.

Lytton Building, Palo Alto, CA
This 60,000 square foot, steel frame office building is three stories in height and has two basements for parking.

Hillview/Hanover Office Buildings, Palo Alto, CA
This project includes two new, two-story, 76,500 square foot office buildings, which will be mirror images of each other. The structural system is concrete fill over metal deck floors supported on wide flange beams and columns, with a foundation system of shallow spread footings.

San Francisco Firemen Credit Union, San Francisco, CA
A two-story office building over a basement garage, with a total enclosed area of approximately 40,000 square feet; designed utilizing structural steel construction.

80 North “B” Street, San Mateo, CA
This project will be a four-story, above-grade building, with three stories below grade. The Fourth Floor of the building is to be used as housing, levels two and three will be office space, the ground floor is a combination of office and retail, with parking on the three below-grade levels.

1101 Fifth Street, San Rafael, CA
This project consists of two levels of below-grade parking totaling approximately 50,000 square feet, topped by three levels of office building totaling 75,000 square feet. The structure of the office building will be either cast-in-place concrete, steel frame with concrete fill over metal deck floor, or wood frame with lightweight concrete fill, and the parking structure will be cast-in-place concrete construction.

Quantum Office Buildings, Milpitas, CA
This project consists of two, two-story office buildings with square footage of 175,000 and 202,000 square feet, respectively. These buildings will be designed utilizing structural steel construction; vertical load-carrying system a combination of rolled and fabricated steel trusses; lateral system a series of eccentric braced frames; floor will be a metal deck with concrete fill on second floor and metal deck with rigid insulation on the roof.

People Soft Campus, Site 57, Pleasanton, CA
Site 57 contains two, five-story office buildings of approximately 178,125 square feet, each with a mechanical penthouse of 10,000 square feet; one 33,890 square foot commons facility, and one, four-story, 352,265 square foot parking garage. Construction is structural steel for the office buildings and a combination of poured-in-place and precast concrete for the parking structure.

People Soft Campus, Site 56, Pleasanton, CA
Building “G” – which is one of several to be built on this site – will be five stories in height and have an “L” configuration. This building will be identical to the two existing office buildings on Site 57, with the exception of the building siting and the necessary foundation modifications.

Reno/Tahoe Technology Center, Building 2 and Building 3,
Reno, NV
Buildings 2 and 3 of this project are each two-story, 60,000 square foot buildings, essentially identical to each other.

CM-One Mixed-Use Building, Los Gatos, CA
A two-story, 6000 square foot building with a full basement; the intended use of the building is one level of office space and one level of residential units.

Washington Landing, San Francisco, CA
This project is anticipated to be a housing project, which will also include parking, retail and a health club. The structure is to be eight stories in height with one basement level to be used for parking, with the possibility of an additional subterranean parking structure.

Shaklee Corporate Campus, Pleasanton, CA
This project contains two buildings, one three-story office building and one two-story conference center. The office building contains approximately 105,000 square feet and the anticipated construction methods is structural steel vertical and lateral systems utilizing metal deck with concrete fill for the floors. The conference center building contains approximately 20,600 square feet; structural steel is the anticipated construction of this building as well.

Treat Towers, Pleasant Hill, CA
Two, ten-story office buildings of approximately 187,500 square feet each with parking below grade and a parking structure of four stories above grade, for approximately 370,000 square feet and a Plaza of approximately 50,000 square feet. Office buildings are designed utilizing structural steel and the above-grade and below-grade parking is designed utilizing poured-in-place concrete construction

7180 Koll Center Parkway, Pleasanton, CA
A two-story structure, which is approximately 40,000 gross square feet. The anticipated type of construction is poured-in-place concrete, tilt-up panels.

753-777 Davis Street, San Francisco, CA
Complete seismic rehabilitation of existing two-story, 27,000 square foot, un-reinforced masonry building, utilizing scheme which allowed tenants to remain in building.

Fountain Park Office Buildings, Mountain View, CA
This project consists of a new four-story office building enclosing approximately 102,500 square feet. The structural system for this building is anticipated to be structural steel with concrete fill over metal deck floors. The other part of this project is exterior renovations of an existing one-story office building.

475 and 495 Java Drive, Sunnyvale, CA
Two, four-story office buildings of 130,000 square feet each. The structures are concrete fill over metal deck floors, and roofs supported on wide flange beams and columns. The foundation is shallow spread footing.

BEA Software Systems, San Jose, CA
The first phase of this development will be two office buildings, a training facility and a parking structure. The office buildings will be six stories and 222,000 square feet, and five stories and 168,000 square feet, respectively. The training facility will be two stories in height, enclosing approximately 20,000 square feet and be attached to the parking structure, which is anticipated to be four stories in height and have an enclosed area of 490,000 square feet.

Albany Bayview Office Park, Albany, CA
The project consists of three, three-story office buildings, with each building having one level of parking below grade. Each office building has 75,000 square feet of office space and 25,000 square feet of underground parking, for a combined total of 225,000 square feet of office space and 75,000 square feet of parking.

This project consists of two, three-story, tilt-up concrete buildings, each of which is approximately 100,000. If required, trash enclosures, loading docks and landscape features will be included.

Electronics for Imaging Campus, Foster City, CA
The first phase of this project was a five-level parking structure with a total parked-on are of 339,500 square feet; the second phase is a five-story building enclosing approximately 163,000 square feet with a 15600 square foot enclosed penthouse; the third phase is a six-story, 172,000 square foot office building, with a 9500 square foot enclosed penthouse.

Oracle Office Park, Redwood City, CA
This high profile campus is composed of six office buildings varying in height from eight stories to 16 stories; total square footage in excess of 1,300,000. In addition, there are four structured parking lots totaling over 1,100,000 square feet; and a fitness center and conference center. Construction is structural steel for the office buildings and a combination of poured-in-place and precast concrete for the parking structure.

Fireman's Fund Complex, Novato, CA
Over 500,000 square feet of office building in two structures. Buildings were designed using structural steel and are four stories in height.

Regency Center II, San Rafael, CA
Three-story office building, approximately 118,000 gross square feet, with first floor having a larger footprint that the upper two stories. Building built utilizing structural steel with metal deck and concrete floors; exterior cladding is a combination of precast concrete and glass curtain wall. Estimated construction cost $8,500,000.

The Gap, Phase II, San Bruno, CA
This project consists of two, new, two-story office buildings (Buildings 2 and 3) enclosing approximately 289,000 square feet and a new parking structure below Building 3 of approximately 280,000 square feet.

Peninsula Office Park, San Mateo, CA
This project, built in two phases, consists of a four-story, 139,000 square foot office building with a partial basement and a two-level, 173,000 square foot garage.

Addison-Wesley Publishing Company, Menlo Park, CA
Two identical office buildings, two stories in height, with a total square footage in excess of 80,000 square feet. The structural system is a combination of structural steel and wood frame.

Bay Park Plaza II, Burlingame, CA
This structure is a five-story office building with a floor plan of approximately 22,000 gross square feet, with a total square footage of approximately 110,000 square feet. This building is designed using structural steel for the framing system, with the floor being designed using metal decking with concrete fill. The lateral system will be eccentric steel braced frames in combination with steel moment resisting space frames.

Bay Meadows Mixed Use, San Mateo, CA
This project consists of the full development of the mixed-use site at Bay Meadows. In its current configuration, the seven-acre site will contain five new buildings and a subterranean parking structure. At least four of the five buildings will rest on a podium with the parking underneath. In addition to the buildings, the majority of the complex sits on a podium level slab, which supports the structures, the at-grade parking and the landscaping. The square footage for this project is 246,500 square feet.

Cisco Systems, San Jose, CA
Site II — A four-story, steel frame building containing an auditorium and cafeteria; two three-story office buildings; a two-story building utilizing tilt-up concrete walls, steel bar joists and concrete over metal deck floor for a total square footage of 1.2 million square feet.Cisco Systems, Site III, San Jose, CA
Site III — A series of buildings tilt-up, concrete structures including trash enclosures, loading docks, landscape features, screen walls and mechanical equipment spaces on roofs. Total square footage for this project is 750,000 square feet.
Site IV, Phases I & II — Phases I, and II consist of seven office buildings, four being three stories in height; the other two buildings are four-story structures. Total square footage for this project is 3.5 million square feet.
Site V — Site 5B consists of five office building. All of these buildings are three stories in height, each having a gross square footage of 250,000 square feet. All buildings of this phase of the site development are anticipated to be designed using structural steel with metal deck and concrete fill.
Site VI — This site will contain ten office buildings, seven of which will be built in the first phase of this project. The seven structures, buildings 26 to 32, will vary in height from three to five stories, with the three sets of buildings being duplicates of one another.
Site VII — The plan for Site VII identifies a site containing approximately 42 office buildings and an unknown number of parking structures. Phase A of this project will contain six office buildings, varying in height from two to six stories, and one parking garage of at least two stories.
Site VIII — This project is anticipated to be a continuously phased project, ultimately containing 18 buildings. It is anticipated that there will be four basic building types ranging in size from three stories containing 150,000 square feet; four stories containing 200,000 square feet; five stories containing 250,000 square feet, and six stories containing 300,000 square feet.

Rowland Plaza Office Building, Novato, CA
Three-story office building, constructed utilizing steel frame construction with the first floor being a supported slab off the concrete pile foundation system; approximately 80,000 gross square feet.

100 Redwood Shores, Redwood City, CA
This project is a four-story office building of approximately 58,500 square feet with a steel frame and concrete deck.

Island Park Campus, Belmont, CA
Phase I — consisting of a five-story, 107,000 square foot office building and a three-story, 110,000 square foot parking structure.
Phase II — will be a seven-story, 160,000 square foot office building. The structural system will be concrete fill over metal deck, supported by a structural steel frame for the office buildings and cast-in-place and precast concrete for the parking structure.

Network Appliance Campus, Sunnyvale, CA
This project consists of two three-story office buildings, Buildings 5 and 6, consisting of 125,516 and 123,287 square feet, respectively; one two-level parking structure adjacent Building 6. This project also includes tenant improvements to existing buildings at 495 Java Drive, 1260 Crossman Way and 1275 Crossman Way.
Buildings 7 and 8 are three-story office buildings of 123,287 square feet each, essentially identical to Building 6, and the EMI Building is one story containing 3840 square feet.

Adobe Headquarters, San Jose, CA
Phase I — Seventeen-story office building with two basement and four above-grade parking levels; grade level entry, including fountain, entry area, landscaping and walkways, for a total square footage of 850,000 square feet.
Phase II — A 17-story, steel frame office building, which has two basements. The basements, plus the first five levels (excluding level 2) will be used for parking; level 2 and levels 6 through 15 are office space. The project has a total of 655,000 square feet.
Phase I, Building II — A 17-story, steel-frame office building with parking for a total area of 484,317 square feet; there will also be an addition to the exterior area of Level 6 of Phase II, plus a bridge to Phase I at Level 13.

Watergate IV, Emeryville, CA
An 18-story, steel-frame office building with attached four-level concrete parking garage.
Building area includes 360,000 square feet of office space and parking for 950 cars.

488 Almaden Boulevard, San Jose, CA
An 18-story, steel-frame office building with ten levels of parking integrated into the structure. Building area includes 390,000 square feet of office space and parking for 1100 cars.

Sunnyvale Civic Center, Sunnyvale, CA
Three, five- and six-story, steel-frame office buildings springing four-level, below-grade, concrete garage. Building area includes a total of 600,000 square feet of office space, 200,000 square feet of structured plaza, and parking for 1600 cars.

Exodus/S3 Campus, Santa Clara, CA
Two, four-story buildings, approximately 150,000 each, and two, eight-story buildings enclosing 180,000 square feet each, and a commons building of 40,000 square feet for a total of 760,000 square feet, built in two phases, Type I construction utilizing concrete fill over metal deck, and structural steel frame.

The nine buildings include a one-story warehouse with loading dock; two three-story, 120,000 office buildings over a one-level subterranean garage; two four-story, 160,000 square foot office buildings over a subterranean garage, two four-story, 120,000 square foot office buildings over a subterranean garage, and a two-story, 60,000 office building.

Yahoo! Corporate Campus, Sunnyvale, CA
This project consists of four new office buildings; two four-story and two five-story buildings, with a total of 740,000 square feet; a “Commons” Building of approximately 60,000 square feet and a Parking Structure enclosing approximately 300,000 square feet.

Veritas Corporate Headquarters, Mountain View, CA
This campus project consists of four, four-story office buildings consisting of approximately 403,000 square feet, a one-story commons building of approximately 22,000 square feet, and a three-level, 106,000 square foot parking structure

Veritas Campus, Milpitas, CA
This project is two-phase, each consisting of three buildings. Phase I will be one two-story and two three-story buildings with a total of approximately 464,000 square feet. The three buildings in Phase II will be two stories, three stories and four stories for approximately 522,000 square feet.

Pruneyard Office Complex, Campbell, CA
This project consists of a six-story, steel-frame, office building of 130,000 square feet. The parking structure is a three-story concrete structure for approximately 800 cars and is 250,000 square feet. There is also a hotel addition for 54 rooms. This wood-frame structure will be 60,000 square feet.

Gates Computer Science Building, Stanford University,
Palo Alto, CA

A five-story plus basement, 150,000 square foot steel frame structure housing faculty offices, classrooms and research facilities.

Symantec Corporation, Cupertino, CA
One building, four stories in height with three basement levels of parking. The above-grade structure is designed using structural steel; the at-grade level, in addition to the basement, is poured-in-place concrete. There are approximately 143,000 square feet of office space and 280,000 square feet of parking. In addition, at grade is an approximately 55,000 square foot landscaped area, which is on supported structure.

Seaport Plaza, Redwood City, CA
A project consisting of two, three-story, mirror image office buildings, each office building will be constructed over a one-level parking garage.

3300 Hillview, Palo Alto, CA
A two-story, 42,000 square foot structure in the Stanford Research Center at Stanford University; structure designed utilizing structural steel construction.

JMA Office Building, Los Altos, CA
This project is a two-story, wood-frame office building of approximately 20,400 square feet.

Bernal Corporate Park, Pleasanton, CA
A six-building complex; two being two-story, tilt-up, concrete structures, 35,000 and 40,000 square feet, respectively. Four office buildings, two of which are three stories in height, with a total square footage of 220,000 square feet. The other two office buildings are up to five stories tall and have a total square footage of 250,000 square feet.

San Tomas Office Campus, Santa Clara, CA
This project consists of two new three-story office buildings enclosing approximately 119,000 square feet each. Buildings “A” and “D” are identical, with Buildings “B” and “C” to be designed at a later time.

Oakland City Center, Oakland, CA
A 21-story, steel-frame office building with urban plaza at ground floor and two levels of below-grade parking. Building area includes 370,000 square feet of office space and 160,000 square feet for parking and loading dock use. The podium and parking levels are precast concrete beams and columns with reinforced concrete slabs.

Skyport Plaza, Phase I, San Jose, CA
A project consisting of three new, eight-story office buildings; two four-level parking garages, one containing 1180 stalls and the other 650 stalls; a one-story and a two-story retail building. The total square footage for this office and parking project is approximately 1,285,648 square feet.

Ellis at Middlefield, Mountain View, CA
A three-story office building of 99,977 gross square feet, and a four-story office building of 134,887 square feet. This structure is concrete fill over metal deck floors, and roofs supported on wide flange beams and columns. The foundation is shallow spread footing. In addition, there will also be an arcade at the front of each structure.

Next Level Communications Office Building,
Rohnert Park, CA
Two-story office building of 140,000 square feet. This building is designed utilizing structural steel construction; vertical load-carrying system is a combination of rolled and fabricated steel trusses; lateral system is a series of eccentric braced frames; floor is a metal deck with concrete fill on second floor and metal deck with rigid insulation on the roof.

Next Level Communications, Phase II, Building 5, Rohnert Park, CA
Consisting of 100,000 square feet, this new, three-story office building will be built over a one-level, below-grade garage enclosing approximately 35,000 square feet.

River Corporate Center, San Jose, CA
This project consists of three, steel-frame office buildings; Buildings I and II are five-story, 148,000 square foot, mirror images. Building III is a seven-story building enclosing approximately 175,000 square feet.

Becton-Dickinson, San Jose, CA
Renovation and addition to a 320,000 square foot facility for new laboratory manufacturing and office use. Addition totaled 60,000 square feet, including new mezzanine, in seismically upgraded warehouse space for laboratory use. Steel frame structure with concrete fill over metal deck at the elevated floor level.

Market & Noe Center, San Francisco, CA
This is three-story, reinforced concrete building containing 30,000 square feet; used as office, retail and parking.

Bayside Plaza, San Francisco, CA
An eight-story, 100,000 square foot office building and parking structure of reinforced concrete.

Cupertino City Center, Cupertino, CA
Structural steel and concrete office buildings and parking structures; one four-story building contains 140,000 square feet and the two eight-story buildings each containing 400,000 square feet.

Yerba Buena West, San Francisco, CA
This building was a six-story, 300,000 square foot, office building, with below-level parking; four of these levels were of reinforced concrete and two levels of structural steel and concrete.

Echelon Campus, San Jose, CA
This two-phase project consists of a three-story office building, with a total square footage of 75,000 square feet. Phase II will be a three-story, 75,000 square foot office building that will be a mirror image of the structure built for Phase I.
