BODO Development, Hotel and Parking Garage, Boise, ID
A project consisting of a seven-story hotel over a four-story parking structure. The hotel lobby, support space and retail use will be on the ground floor.

Four Seasons Resort, Vale, CO
This project is a ten-story structure with three levels being below-grade. The defined uses of the structure are a full-service hotel with a ballroom, fractional ownership units, condominiums, employee housing and below-grade parking.

Riverbend Hotel and Spa, Napa, CA
The Riverbend Hotel is a five-star hotel, which is three stories in height with a partial basement that is used predominantly for parking, with some back-of-house use. The project calls for the placement of hotel rooms on top of the ballroom and back-of-house space.

Notre Dame Inn, South Bend, IN
In its current configuration, this hotel project on the campus of Notre Dame College is a full service hotel including kitchen, back of house and a ballroom. The structure is potentially four stories in height and contains a gross square footage of 221,000 square feet. In addition, the public areas of the hotel are one and two stories in height; these areas include lobbies, restaurant, ballroom, back-of-house uses and one outside lanai that will required being a supported slab. The hotel also features a highly articulated roof.

Hyatt Grand Champions Resort, Indian Wells, CA
This project contains five different structures: Ballroom Expansion Building; Guest Room Wing; Casitas/Presidential Suites; Pool Bar Restaurant and the Spa. The Ballroom Expansion Building is a one-story, column-free, long-span building; the Guest Room Wing is five stories in height, and the Casitas, Restaurant and Spa are all one story each

Four Seasons Hotel, Jackson Hole, WY
This project comprises several buildings and will be built on various levels. The initial concept calls for a hotel portion, a portion for condominium/time-share use, and a parking structure. The hotel portion could be as tall as nine stories, the condominium portion as tall as five stories, with the parking structure three stories in height.

Fairmont Hotel, San Jose, CA
Twenty-two story steel frame hotel; 700,000 square feet. Mixed-use project includes hotel, retail, convention facilities and subterranean parking. Estimated construction cost $65 million.

Fairmont Hotel Expansion, San Jose, CA
One building, 13 stories tall with three basement levels for parking; at-grade level for Lobby and retail space; second floor for meeting rooms, athletic space and back-of-house space; remaining 11 floors are guest rooms. In addition to the structure, the building is anticipated to have an underground connection to the existing Fairmont Hotel, as well as a bridge connection at the second floor, which will be above and below the Paseo.

Summit Hotel, Big Sky, MT
This 10-story, steel frame, 100-room hotel is currently being built in heavy snow and mountainous conditions over a two-year period. Additional complications include building in Seismic Zone 4. This plans on being the premiere destination hotel in the State of Montana, with a total square footage of 290,000 square feet with an estimated construction cost of $25,000,000.

Amangani, Jackson Hole, WY
This very high-end hotel is built on a hilltop with commanding views of the Grand Tetons. This structure is a four-building structure consisting of a poured-in-place concrete garage, 4-story, steel frame public space structure and two 4-story hotel guest room structures designed using both poured-in-place concrete and wood frame construction. This part of the country is seismically active and required the structure to be designed. The total square footage is 100,000 square feet, with an estimated construction cost of $18,000,000

The Christiania, Ketchum, ID
This mixed-use project consists of approximately 54,425 square feet in three levels. The at-grade level will be mixed-use of either parking or retail space; the second floor will be commercial office space, with residential units on the third floor.

Inns on the Colonnade, Sun Valley, Ketchum, ID
This project is of wood frame construction and contains approximately 52,000 square feet of structure on three levels. The at-grade level consists of mixed use of parking and retail space; both the second and third floors are residential units. The third floor is loft space for some of the residential units.

Marriott Hotel, Emeryville, CA
Eleven-story hotel designed utilizing ductile moment resisting concrete frames and post-tensioned concrete slabs. Site is founded on San Francisco Bay mud, therefore requiring a supported slab-at-grade and concrete pile, with lengths up to 140 feet. In addition to the hotel, the project also consists of two low-rise, commercial buildings designed utilizing steel frame construction. Total square footage of hotel is 160,000 square feet and 25,000 square feet of retail space.

Hilton Hotel, Santa Clara, CA
This project consists of an eight-story hotel building having a total enclosed area of approximately 166,066 square feet.

Park Hotel, San Mateo, CA
A 240-room hotel, with approximately 15,000 square feet of public function space. In addition to the hotel there will be a structured parking garage for approximately 375 cars.

Monterey Peninsula Hotel, Monterey, CA
This project consists of three structures. The four-story main hotel building is on the bay side of Cannery Row; a four-story Guest Complex and three-story parking structure are tiered on the hillside directly across Cannery Row. The construction for this project is poured-in-place, post-tensioned concrete. The main hotel building, room wing annex and the parking garage comprise a total of 316,000 square feet.

Mountain Inn, Big Sky, MT
A new 68,000-square foot, four-story, 89-room mountain hotel. The building is situated at the base of a major ski run, and features wood frame construction, a large porte-cochere and high-mountain snow loads. Big Sky, Montana is located not far from Yellowstone National Park and is in UBC Seismic Zone 4.

Spanish Bay Resort Hotel, Pebble Beach, CA
This predominantly wood frame hotel of 700,000 square feet, also required long span for the double stacked ballrooms. Spans were a moderate 50 feet and were handled using conventional wide flange steel beams. Estimated construction cost $40 million.

Hilton Hotel Tower II Addition, San Francisco, CA
Twenty-two story, steel frame guest room wing and remodel of existing hotel. In addition to the hotel tower, this complex housed a column-free ballroom of 25,000 square feet. Project was complicated by having spans over the ballroom of 120 feet in length, which in some cases were also required to support the 22-story guest room wing on top. Estimated construction cost for total project $180 million.

Fisherman’s Wharf Hotel, San Francisco, CA
This project consists of a four-story hotel building over one basement of parking, with a total square footage of 162,400 square feet.

Pruneyard Inn, Campbell, CA
This project consists of a three-story, conventional, wood-frame addition to a six-story office building, three-level parking complex.

Red Lion Hotel, San Jose, CA
Ten-story, 500-room concrete and steel frame structure that also required two 10,000 square foot ballrooms to be stacked. The use of structural steel was employed for the 60-foot spans.

Marriott Hotel, Burlingame, CA
This project is an eleven-story, 600-room, concrete and steel structure. The top story of one of the hotel wings has a 15,000 square foot ballroom. The roof of the ballroom spanned in excess of 85 feet and was designed using steel construction.

Marriott Hotel — Great America, Santa Clara, CA
Sixteen-story guest room addition to the original hotel estimated to be 250,000 square feet; designed using poured-in-place concrete construction. In addition to the guest room tower, we added a significant amount of back-of-house space.

Desert Princess Resort, Cathedral City, CA
Four-story, 300-room hotel and convention center; concrete, CMU and steel construction. Estimated construction cost $25 million.

Marriott Hotel — Yerba Buena Gardens, San Francisco, CA
Thirty-eight story, steel-framed, 1500-room convention hotel. The project includes a 110,000 square foot underground ballroom structure. The 40,000 square foot ballroom has a 140 foot clear span supporting future construction and garden loads of 375 pounds per square foot.

Hyatt Regency — Gainey Ranch, Scottsdale, AZ
Four-story, 400,000 square foot, luxury resort hotel; reinforced and post-tensioned concrete. Estimated construction cost $35,000,000.

Holiday Inn, Emeryville, CA
Twelve-story reinforced concrete building supported on pre-cast concrete piles.

Oakland Airport Hilton, Oakland, CA
A three-story, wood-frame hotel containing 350,000 square feet.
