Bay Meadows Mixed Use, San Mateo, CA
This project consists of the full development of the mixed-use site at Bay Meadows. In its current configuration, the seven-acre site will contain five new buildings and a subterranean parking structure. At least four of the five buildings will rest on a podium with the parking underneath. In addition to the buildings, the majority of the complex sits on a podium level slab, which supports the structures, the at-grade parking and the landscaping. The square footage for this project is 246,500 square feet.

This structure is a five-story office building with a floor plan of approximately 22,000 gross square feet, with a total square footage of approximately 110,000 square feet. This building is designed using structural steel for the framing system, with the floor being designed using metal decking with concrete fill. Becton-Dickinson Laboratory/Office, San Jose, CA

Site II A four-story, steel frame building containing an auditorium and cafeteria; two three-story office buildings; a two-story building utilizing tilt-up concrete walls, steel bar joists and concrete over metal deck floor for a total square footage of 1.2 million square feet.
Site III A series of buildings tilt-up, concrete structures including trash enclosures, loading docks, landscape features, screen walls and mechanical equipment spaces on roofs. Total square footage for this project is 750,000 square feet.
Site IV, Phases I & II Phases I, and II consist of seven office buildings, four being three stories in height; the other two buildings are four-story structures. Total square footage for this project is 3.5 million square feet.
Site V Site 5B consists of five office building. All of these buildings are three stories in height, each having a gross square footage of 250,000 square feet. All buildings of this phase of the site development are anticipated to be designed using structural steel with metal deck and concrete fill.
Site VI This site will contain ten office buildings, seven of which will be built in the first phase of this project. The seven structures, buildings 26 to 32, will vary in height from three to five stories, with the three sets of buildings being duplicates of one another.

Concordia Club of San Francisco, San Francisco, CA
The Concordia Club is an established athletic facility in San Francisco that was damaged during the 1989 Loma Prieta Earthquake. We are in the process of retrofitting the building to comply with the current seismic codes of San Francisco. Electronic Arts Commons Building, Redwood City, CA
This 47,000 square foot, steel frame recreation and fitness center was designed specifically for the employees of Electronic Arts Corporation. The project is two stories in height. At one end of the facility is a basketball court; the other space is filled with a weight-training room, aerobics rooms, locker rooms, and a dining facility.

Originally built in 1963, the Owners of the building have retained us to provide documents to seismically upgrade the structure to current codes.
Foundry Square, Buildings 1, 2, 3 and 4, San Francisco, CA
This project will be located on the four corners of the intersection at First & Howard Streets. Building 1 is a ten-story office building with two basement levels of parking and a landscaped area.
Building 2 will also be ten stories in height with two basements to be used for parking. This structure will have a landscaped plaza area on the ground floor and on the First Street elevation will wrap around an historic landmark building. This historic building will be rehabilitated during the project.
Building 3 will be a nine-story office building and Building 4 will be a ten-story office building. Both will have one basement level for parking. The ground floor and eighth floor of both buildings will have landscaped plazas associated with them.

This project comprises several buildings and will be built on various levels. The initial concept calls for a hotel portion, a portion for condominium/time-share use, and a parking structure. The hotel portion could be as tall as nine stories, the condominium portion as tall as five stories, with the parking structure three stories in height.

Hilton Hotel, San Francisco, CA
This project in its entirety encompasses a city block. On it are four distinct buildings ranging in height from 42 stories to six stories. Our most recent task was to design a new 22-story guest room tower and a new 30,000 sq. ft. ballroom. This required clear spans in excess of 120 feet. The ballroom spanned two separate structures, which demanded a complete rehabilitation of an existing structure to support loads in excess of 350 pounds per sq. ft. The cost of the project exceeded 230 million dollars and is the largest hotel in California.
Hilton Hotel Tower II Addition, San Francisco, CA
Twenty-two story, steel frame guest room wing and remodel of existing hotel. In addition to the hotel tower, this complex housed a column-free ballroom of 25,000 square feet. Project was complicated by having spans over the ballroom of 120 feet in length, which in some cases were also required to support the 22-story guest room wing on top. Estimated construction cost for total project $180 million.

Big Sky, Montana is located not far from Yellowstone National Park and is in UBC Seismic Zone 4.

This structure consisted of using concrete block, reinforced concrete and structural steel. Total square footage for this two-story structure is 30,000 square feet.

Network Appliance Campus, Sunnyvale, CA
This project consists of two three-story office buildings, Buildings 5 and 6, consisting of 125,516 and 123,287 square feet, respectively; one two-level parking structure adjacent Building 6. This project also includes tenant improvements to existing buildings at 495 Java Drive, 1260 Crossman Way and 1275 Crossman Way. Buildings 7 and 8 are three-story office buildings of 123,287 square feet each, essentially identical to Building 6, and the EMI Building is one story containing 3840 square feet.

In its current configuration, this hotel project on the campus of Notre Dame College is a full service hotel including kitchen, back of house and a ballroom. In addition, the public areas of the hotel are one and two stories in height; these areas include lobbies, restaurant, ballroom, back-of-house uses and one outside lanai that will required being a supported slab. The hotel also features a highly articulated roof.

Olympic Club Downtown, San Francisco, CA
The Olympic Club is one of the oldest athletic facilities in the country, and its current facility is over 60 years of age. We have done many projects on this building for the past ten years. Our most recent project was the reconstruction of the natatorium building. During this reconstruction we rebuilt the entire pool and the decks that surround it. This high profile campus is composed of six office buildings varying in height from eight stories to 16 stories; total square footage in excess of 1,300,000. In addition, there are four structured parking lots totaling over 1,100,000 square feet; and a fitness center and conference center. Construction is structural steel for the office buildings and a combination of poured-in-place and precast concrete for the parking structure.
Oracle Fitness Center, Redwood City, CA
This 36,000 square foot, steel frame recreation and fitness center was designed specifically for the employees of Oracle Corporation. The project is two stories in height. At one end of the facility is a basketball court; the other space is filled with a weight-training room, aerobics rooms, locker rooms, restaurant, etc. In addition, there is an outdoor lap pool.
Oracle Fitness Center Expansion, Redwood City, CA
After our successful first fitness center we have been requested to develop an additional building for the fitness center. The concept is to have an aerobics facility and meeting space on one floor with an open-air basketball court on the roof. The addition will be attached to the main fitness center via a bridge. Square footage is 5000 square feet.
